I really appreciate the photos. But it is a 51 and not a 49. I lived in Kansas at the time and drove it to 4 Americruises 1993 Springfield, 1995 & 1996 Lincoln and Snow Mass in 1998. I hear it's still cruising the streets between Topeka and Burlington. I on the other hand moved out to Washington last summer where I am now in the process of building a 52 Chevy Roadster pickup. Found a 83 Ford LTD w/3.8 V6 and I scraped it out using all the running gear, and am now waiting for the fenders. It runs, brakes work,and soon there will be a 29 roadster on St. Thomas, and I guarantee, the only one. There is a 34 Willys with a 400hp Chevy here, but the builder sold it and left Island, and I have not seen it since. Will send pictures when she is on the road. I had a blow out in front of her house ironically, and my jack didn't work, so I had to knock on the door to use her dads jack, and thats how I met her. I dated her for a year, then I sold this coupe against dads advise. After about 25 years later, I found the very same car in Mountain Home, Arkansas and bought it back for 45 times what I had \ orginally bought it for. Now I have it restored as close to orginal as possible and have approximately 16,000.00 in it.
