Comments: I just came upon your site. I just inherited my father's 1940 Ford Sedan. He's had it since the early fifties. I learned how to drive in this car and plan to keep it and fix it up. Comments: Currently Im building a car from scratch full body convertable, it's a Blackhawk reprlica, 2000 CONCEPT CAR, Anyway Im using an 84 deta 88 frame and differencial, a 76 Buick Lasaber 455, and 89 S10 electronic 350 Trans. Quite the project ahead for me. I got the frame and brakes done as well as the suspension, I have the floorpan and the cowl started, I need to complete my English wheel (it smooths out the bumps) before I weld the floor together. Enough about me, I use your page as my home page, It's great for showing off custom cars to my friends on the fly BUT There is one maker of auto missing... A Buick Link would be nice I know they have only One or two vehicles that are muscle car mateial (e.i. the Grand Sport and the Grand National) Rivs are nice but not really a muscle car by the norm although I have seen some that should be like(Regals, Big Block Skylarks,some hopped up centurys and a supercharged Roadmaster with a LT1) Although missing a Buick link is'nt all bad it's still a really cool site. Hopefully someday you might have an in the works page showing photo's of guys works in progress, to me it shows proof that someone got off thier butt and did the painstaking labor of pulling a car from the junkyard's grasp and made a true work of art. Comments: Thanks for posting pictures of my truck at Springfield these passed two years, it was very kind of you. I've owned this truck since '61, I drove it in high school. I did the chassic and drive train 3 years ago, don't know that I will ever do the body. I drove it to the Frog Follies last year and again this year and it will run with the big dogs. The five speed overdrive is great, I ran it 80 mph for 450 miles each way and averaged 17+ miles per gallon. It would do neither when I drove it to school.
