His father started restoring it back in 1961 It is all stock and it is more than three quaters complete. He lost interest in it I rember helping clean parts working on it when I was 13. The coupe has not been tuched in 32 years, it was like opening up a time capsul and steping back in time. It was in the same spot I rember. It brought back memories. It is in beautiful shape. The body never had rust and it was frame off restore. I cant wait to finish it. I think I got it for a steel but I am not sure, I paid four thousand dollars for it. I would have paid more if I had to, I just had to have it, and have been trying to buy it for over 25 years. Please e-mail me and let me what you think. I decided to "hot rod" the original inline 6-cylinder (stop gnashing your teeth, please) driving a 3-speed overdrive manual transmission. Everything that's not new/repro will be torn down, rebuilt, repainted/replated, etc. Can't wait to cruise the great Northwest this summer! Uh, oh yeah...thanks for having this page up, I like it.
