2007 Alumni Minutes
Following are the minutes of the 115th BPHS Alumni Reunion meeting held May 26, 2007, submitted by Co-Secretaries, Mary J Holinde Hunt (1982) and Joel Hunt (1978).
Welcome and Invocation
Co-Presidents, Ted Davis (1957) and Diane Richmond Davis (1957), opened the meeting with welcoming remarks. The invocation was delivered by Charles Bishop (1957).
The class of 2007 was welcomed into the Alumni Association. Class President, Elizabeth Burdette, gave her acceptance and thanks to the attending Alumni members.

Beulah Hamilton Watkins (Class of 1936), and Paul Nye (Class of 1928)
Honor of the 50th Year Class
The 50th Anniversary Class of 1957 was introduced and yellow roses were passed out by the new Alumni Class of 2007.
In Memoriam
Traci Gifford Cruisinberry (1992) presented the Memoriam.
Recognition of Military Service Members
All military past and present stood and were recognized for their service.
Alumni Scholarships
Judy Wooldridge Graber (1956), made five $500 Alumni Scholarship presentations to five 2007 graduates.
A pass-of-the-hat collection gathered $1,254.00 from the members in attendance.

The anniversary class speakers were as follows:
75th - Jess Shade (who could not attend, but sent a letter to address the Alumni, and also included a $500 donation to the Alumni Association
70th – Josephine Walter Waugh
65th – Ted Frazee
60th - Robert Lawless
55th – Norvin Stunkel
50th - Kay McMillan
45th - John Patrick
40th - Arlen Baumgartner
35th - Jim Wharton
30th - Margaret Gourlay Langley

5th - Jamie Stinnett
New Officer Nominations
New officers nominated to the Alumni Board were Becke Fisher Shivers (1982) and Fred Dierkson (1978). The vote was unanimous.
Lifetime Achievement Awards
Three Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented throughout the evening, and were given to the following for their service and dedication to the Alumni Association:
Barbara Hunt Brummett (1947), Judy Wooldridge Graber (1956), and Solon Hunt (1945)
Alma Mater
The Alumni sang the Alma Mater, which was led by Solon Hunt (1945) and accompanied by Angela Beckner Lemmon (1978), to conclude the meeting.
